At the end of March the time had come – the neoom group celebrated its second birthday. As in the first year, this joyous occasion was again celebrated with a live event. We had a clear objective: we wanted to surpass the purely digital first birthday celebration this year with a hybrid event. The big challenge in this regard was once again Corona. Due to ever-changing restrictions, we had to plan very elaborately, take numerous precautionary measures and make changes at short notice. Important aspects were unclear for a long time – would the participants of the panel discussions be able to attend in person or would we have to broadcast them?
In the end, thanks to the tireless efforts of our team and the great support of our guests and speakers, we managed to successfully stage the event in compliance with all regulations and the strictest security measures. Although the number of people on site was strictly regulated, everything was broadcast live from the Freistadt exhibition hall thanks to a sophisticated transmission concept. Thus, the numerous spectators were able to follow the event comfortably via livestream from home.
