Autohaus Rotschne shapes the future of mobility together with neoom

Under the slogan #rotschnegoesfuture, Autohaus Rotschne has electrified its modern company. By using the energy system from neoom, it is ready for new challenges that electromobility entails!

The electric car fleet at Autohaus Rotschne is growing rapidly. Managing Director Jörg Rotschne thought that this was not enough. He decided to take a more active role in shaping the future. He recognized the numerous benefits that his vision would create, not only for Autohaus Rotschne, but also for his customers.

Therefore, he invested in an innovative energy concept: the foundation of this energy system is a photovoltaic system on the roof of his car dealership with 94.45 kWp, which generates solar power directly. To use this energy for e-mobility, neoom equipped the car dealership with a hypercharger with 150kW charging power and three BOXX Wallboxes. The smart solution with a stable base enables efficient charging with a charging power of up to 22 kW and dynamic load control. The freestanding design is easy to use outdoors.

To ensure that surplus energy, which is not needed for charging electric cars or the car dealership's own needs, is not lost, Rotschne will rely on neoom's BLOKK industrial and commercial storage system. The entire energy infrastructure can be controlled intuitively and automatically via the integrated energy management software NTUITY. By storing the energy generated in-house, electricity costs can be reduced even further by covering peak loads and increasing the proportion of self-consumption. NTUITY also takes care of the charging management, i.e. the optimal use of the available energy during charging processes.

neoom's Internet of Energy Gateway "BEAAM" is linking the photovoltaic systems, charging stations and electricity storage units with each other. Thus the individual devices become an entire system. Through the communication of the individual devices with each other, BEAAM can record the operating status any time, ensuring safe operation of the entire system.

With this innovative energy concept, Autohaus Rotschne has not only invested in its hardware, but also in its know-how: by implementing neoom's energy system, it can not only supply itself and its electric car fleet with self-sufficient energy, but its employees can also gain valuable experience with e-mobility, charging management, self-sufficient energy generation and supply. This knowledge can be passed on to their customers. Demonstrating charging processes, in addition to the usual test drives, increases the acceptance of electromobility among potential customers. Being able to obtain first-hand information on energy systems and the new kind of mobility increases people's confidence in these innovative concepts. Moreover, it also makes it easier for employees to understand what aspects people need to consider when purchasing electric cars.

Thus, the car dealership has not only invested in the future of our environment, but also in advice adapted to the needs and challenges of its customers.

Electromobility makes the most sense when the complete energy supply and use is considered from the very beginning. We are pleased to be able to accompany Autohaus Rotschne on its way to a green and energy self-sufficient future!
