Autohaus Rotschne shapes the future of mobility with neoom

The electric car fleet at Autohaus Rotschne is growing rapidly. Managing Director Jörg Rotschne decided that this was not enough - and decided to take an even more active role in shaping the future. He recognized the numerous benefits that would accrue not only to Autohaus Rotschne, but also to his customers from his vision.

He therefore invested in an innovative energy concept: the foundation of this energy system is a photovoltaic system on the roof of the dealership with 94.45 kWp, which harvests energy directly from the sun. To be able to use this energy for e-mobility, neoom equipped the car dealership with a Hypercharger with 150kW charging power and three BOXX wallboxes. The smart solution with stand enables efficient charging with a charging power of up to 22 kW and dynamic load control. The freestanding design offers easy use outdoors.

To ensure that energy not currently needed for charging electric cars or meeting the dealership's own needs is not lost, Rotschne will rely on neoom's BLOKK industrial and commercial storage system. The entire energy infrastructure can be controlled intuitively and automatically via the integrated energy management software NTUITY. By storing the energy generated in-house, electricity costs can be reduced even further by covering peak loads and increasing the proportion of self-consumption. NTUITY also takes care of the charging management, i.e. the optimal use of the available energy during charging processes.

The BEAAM Internet of Energy Gateway from neoom networks the photovoltaic systems, charging stations and electricity storage units with each other and thus virtually welds the individual devices together to form an entire system. Through the communication of the individual devices with each other, BEAAM can record the operating status at any time, ensuring safe operation of the entire system.

With this innovative energy concept, Autohaus Rotschne has not only invested in its hardware, but also in its know-how: by implementing neoom's energy system, it can not only supply itself and its electric car fleet with self-sufficient energy, but its employees can also gain valuable experience with e-mobility, charging management and self-sufficient energy generation and supply, which they can then pass on to their customers. Demonstrating charging processes in addition to the usual test drives increases the acceptance of electromobility among potential customers. Being able to obtain first-hand information on energy systems and the new mobility from the preferred car dealership in turn increases people's confidence in these innovative concepts. But it also makes it easier for employees to understand what aspects people need to consider when purchasing electric cars.
