The Mobile Computing degree programme at Hagenberg University of Applied Sciences focuses on the potential of modern energy systems in the field of "Smart Energy". We were invited to give the students an insight into current practical topics and an outlook for the future. Walter Kreisel explained interesting business models that arise from the use of modern software and smart energy systems. Andreas Sulzermeier, Lead Developer at NTUITY, showed in a hands-on how data is collected and processed in the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
