Atmospheric water extraction at a new level

Climate change has many faces. One of them is water scarcity, which is a daily challenge in many regions of the world. The energy transition is therefore more necessary than ever, but in this case, immediate solutions are also needed. The PHANTOR was therefore developed in response to the growing demand for new possibilities. A mobile atmospheric water generator (AWG) the size of a container that can filter up to 10,000 litres of drinking water a day from the circulating air. The German Innovation Award proves that the neoom group has set new standards in AWG development. Designed for both stationary and semi-stationary use, the PHANTOR from Imhotep Industries, a neoom group company, combines the concentrated know-how of the Upper Austrian greentech company.

AWGs are used where water is scarce: in remote locations, in arid regions or agricultural areas, during peacekeeping operations and disasters, but also in urban development. PHANTOR's drinking water is of Austrian drinking water quality. "The harvested water passes through a series of filters - including activated carbon filters, UV disinfection, mineralisation and bacterial filters. This can supply an entire apartment building, hotel or hospital with fresh water. In many areas of the world, this is more economical than building a water pipeline," says Walter Kreisel. This puts the PHANTOR in the premier league of atmospheric water generators and sets new standards - as now also proven by the German Innovation Award.
