Some of our neoom heroes - employees from almost every department - flew out in the merry month of May for a joint excursion to Sonnenwelt ("Solar World") in Großschönau, which opened in 2013. There was a lot to see: After a personal welcome by the mayor of Großschönau, they were able to admire a journey through 12 time zones, from the beginnings of our planet to the future, as well as our neoom products as exhibits in the special exhibition „Die Powercharger“ .
Afterwards, our colleagues recharged their batteries at a joint lunch in Weitra.
But there was moor…
Strengthened, our neoom heroes set off for the Naturpark Heidenreichsteiner Moor ("Heidenreichsteiner Moor Nature Park"), one of the last moors in Lower Austria. The nature reserve consists of one third open raised bog bordering the bog forest overgrown with spruces, pines and birches.
Under expert guidance, they discovered the moor habitat and learned a lot about biodiversity. There was even the opportunity to wade barefoot through the centuries-old moor mud.
Once in the middle of the moor, our neoom heroes ended the afternoon together in a relaxed way with a cheese and beer tasting and a view of the open moorland and the whipping post - and learned a lot about beer from a qualified beer sommelier.
Shifting down a gear, taking a break from the daily work routine and discovering new things in a relaxed way was thus the motto of our excursion - in this way, our neoom heroes managed to recharge their batteries and strengthen their team spirit.
