neoom appoints the new Country Manager Germany

Since November 2021 Markus Borke is leading the German branch of the neoom group. Prior to his move, Borke was most recently Director of Sales DACH at the German battery company sonnen GmbH. 

Markus Borke (39) began his career with his own installation company as a solar installer, the company was then expanded to include its own PV module production. During this time he was able to gain further important experience. His further career path led him to sonnen at the beginning of 2016. For 3 years, he worked as Area Manager for the Northern Bavaria region before becoming Director Sales DACH, responsible for a large sales team.

Philipp Lobnig, CFO and Human Resources Manager of the neoom group, draws positive conclusions from the appointment: "The fact that we were able to win Markus Borke with his many years of experience and expertise as Country Manager Germany is a significant milestone. The strong expansion into the entire DACH region was made possible by the CENTUM financing round, in the course of which the neoom group was able to generate impressive 11 million euros. New offices have already been opened in Munich and recently in Zurich, with more to follow in order to accommodate the company's massive growth.
