Pitched roof
features

The PV system on a pitched roof can be installed on an east-, west- or south-facing orientation. The roof pitch is ideally between 10 and 45 degrees. The steeper the roof, the easier it is for snow to come off the PV system in winter. In addition, the angle of solar radiation is more advantageous in winter. On-roof and in-roof systems - what is the difference?

In-roof system: For this type of installation, the PV modules are integrated into the existing roof covering. In this way, the system blends into the existing overall appearance with a high aesthetic standard.

Flat roof
features

With a flat roof, there is increased flexibility in the orientation of the PV modules. The substructure is easy to install due to the flat nature of the roof. In addition, there are usually fewer shading problems.
