Huemer poultry farm relies on sustainable energy generation
Decentralization is the driver of the energy transition. neoom is convinced of this. That is why the company offers all-round packages that enable farms to become energy self-sufficient. One of them is Josef and Hermine Huemer’s poultry farm in Kremsmünster with 20,000 pullet places.
The company has been in existence for more than 35 years and is now taking the next step into the future by actively expanding along the path to sustainable energy production and use. “To do this, we were looking for a regional partner who could offer modern technology from a single source and tailor it to our needs,” says son and project manager, Markus Huemer.
They have found this partner in neoom. After all, neoom’s vision is quite clear: decentralized structures for the energy future will be created through an optimal interaction of hardware and software. In Kremsmünster, the existing photovoltaic system was therefore enlarged and a KJUUBE storage system installed.
"With the equipment we now have in place, we look to the future with confidence and are pleased that everything has worked out so well."
"Thanks to the modular design, both the PV system and the storage system can be expanded at any time. This is an important component of decentralization, so that electricity is consumed where it is generated. With our storage solutions, even when there is a power outage. The possibility of emergency power switching (EPS) with the installed KJUUBE NEA (emergency power system) is particularly important in animal husbandry. In the event of a power failure, it is necessary to react immediately."
